The Red Birds is a blend of 3 Sonoma Coast sites. Because the drought was really having its way with the vineyards in 2015, we got the smallest yields and berries we've ever experienced. The resulting wine is fruit driven with a fine tannic structure that is really coming into a fantastic drinking window right now.
There's a great brightness, a red raspberry, candied cherry element to this wine that we just love. The nose on this wine is black raspberry, cola and cherry. This is a beautiful, multi-layered Pinot Noir. There are flavors of plum, color and spice box.
